CDM Home Inspections is a premier home inspection company serving North Carolina. Our goal 

is to provide comprehensive and informative home inspections to support your buying, selling 

and warranty decisions.  

David Matthews is the owner and inspector.  David is licensed as an unlimited general contractor 

by North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors and as a professional home inspector 

by the North Carolina Home Inspector Licensure Board at the NC Department of Insurance.  

David combines these certifications with 15+ years of residential construction all over the state 

of North Carolina to deliver thorough inspections.  He completes new construction, room 

additions, foundations, garages, and modular home setup and repair work.  As an experienced 

contractor, David knows what to look for in a home inspection.  He is able to review new 

construction and older homes’ with prior repair work to ensure any home is up to today’s 

standards and any deficiencies are identified to you.  

CDM Home Inspections will provide you with an electronic home inspection report, complete 

with digital photos, descriptions and informative narratives on each component of the house.  

The inspection report is emailed to you in PDF format within 48 hours of the inspection 

completion, and David remains available to you after the inspection is complete for any 

questions you have on the report.
