Sellers Inspection

Are you ready to sell your home?  Want to sell it fast?  Buyers typically pay for professional home inspections prior to closing, either for peace of mind or as a requirement for a mortgage.  An inspection may identify deficiencies that cause the buyer to re-negotiate or walk away from the deal, or it may cause you to have to make quick repairs to maintain the contract.  These types of repairs are often easier and cheaper to make when you’re not pressed for time, and knowing the results of a home inspection puts you in an excellent position in negotiating the price and timing of the sale.

 

I will provide you a professional home inspection, as if for a buyer, before you put your home on the market to help you eliminate any surprise repairs.  The inspection report, complete with detailed descriptions and digital pictures, can also be made available to potential buyers.  This can be very helpful in making the sale, demonstrating that you are looking out for their interests and giving them confidence in your care of the home.    This may help them decide to opt out of another inspection, saving time and stress in the closing process, or it may simply create goodwill in the transaction.

 

Whether or not you choose to share your inspection with buyers, a sellers’ inspection can give you peace of mind that when the right offer comes along, the house is ready to go.
